Hence, make sure to research about laboratory grown Alexandrites and understand capricious color properties of this beautiful stone before you order an Alexandrite jewelry from my shop. Alexandrite shows it’s colors under a sunlight or an LED light only. Under a regular house light it looks dull, lifeless purple and at first glance may well be confused with a medium purple Amethyst stone.
